In this week’s edition, we highlight the reveal of the Ram 2500 Heavy Duty CNG (compressed natural gas) truck at the National Truck Equipment Association Work Truck Show in Indianapolis, along with two new Ram Tradesman models – a Crew Cab and a Quad Cab, giving Ram Tradesman buyers three different cab choices.

The Jeep brand revealed three new models at the Geneva Motor Show — a Jeep Grand Cherokee production-intent sports concept, a Jeep Compass production-intent concept, and a special edition Jeep Wrangler Mountain in an all-new Gecko body color; Jeep partners with the Jalen Rose Leadership Academy in Detroit to boost educational opportunities for students.

As part of this month’s ‘Jeep Celebration’ in full swing at participating Jeep dealerships, consumers who purchase eligible Jeep brand models today through Sept. 26 can take advantage of a new $500 Bonus Cash promotion.

Eligible consumers who purchase a 2011 or 2012 Jeep model, except for the 2012 Jeep Wrangler and 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8, may be eligible for the $500 Bonus Cash.

The $500 Bonus Cash can be used in addition to most Customer Cash or attractive financing rates in effect during this period.

The 2011 Jeep Wrangler campaign will launch with two new broadcast commercials, “Extraordinary Adventure Swamp” and “Swamp Thing” on May 12. Both commercials will debut “Rock Star City Life,” a track from Kravitz’s upcoming album, “Black and White America.” In “Extraordinary Adventure” viewers will watch Kravitz as his journey unfolds, showcasing the unique capability of the vehicle and illustrating that adventure is never ordinary in a Jeep Wrangler.

“In my experience this is the perfect partnership for me,” said Lenny Kravitz. “The Jeep Wrangler is a rugged classic. I’ve been driving the same one for 16 years and I refuse to get rid of it – If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

Additional commercials for the 2011 Jeep Wrangler will also debut exclusively on the Jeep brand’s social media outlets throughout June.

The Wrangler campaign was created in partnership with Global Hue, Southfield, Mich. and is scheduled to debut May 12. Global Hue is the Lead Agency of Record for the Jeep brand. Their most recent work includes the advertising campaign, “Bloodline,” for the 2011 Jeep Compass. Bloodline featured the off-spring of legendary and famous parents who carved their own path which aligned with the creative platform for the 2011 Jeep Compass.

For 2011, the Jeep Compass offers customers unsurpassed compact-SUV 4×4 capability, courtesy of the Jeep Freedom Drive II® Off-Road package. This available four-wheel-drive system delivers Jeep Trail Rated® capability for the first time in Compass form.
