July 22, 2011 , Auburn Hills, Mich. – The FIAT brand, continuing to engage customers in new and innovative ways, now puts even more electronic information at their fingertips with a free, new Apple® iPad application.

The “FIAT Source” touch-based application digitally showcases the new 2012 Fiat 500 vehicle line and is free to the public to download to their iPad device from iTunes. The premiere Art & Design issue features a gallery installment of four talented emerging artists that, like the FIAT brand, celebrate modern art, technology and design revival.

This new FIAT brand information app will include an interactive 2012 Fiat 500 vehicle catalog that displays detailed 360-degree images, colorizer, videos and product information, as well as an accessories customization function.

Designed to stay fresh, FIAT Source will feature additional chapters, new consumer lifestyle stories and iPad-specific interaction – such as a historical design timeline of the iconic Fiat 500 vehicle. Scheduled to renew quarterly, FIAT Source issues will include music, entertainment, fashion, travel and art. With unique wallpaper and personal sketch downloads, the app creates an iPad studio of engaging customized content that is exclusive to the FIAT brand experience.

Summer 2011 Issue: Art & Design

Continuing the FIAT Brand’s tie to artistic expression, the premiere FIAT Source issue highlights four emerging artists who create their work in uniquely different ways, including:

A Detroit-based graffiti artist and community member who started painting the streets when graffiti was nowhere to be found in the city. He has worked on many events with the FIAT Brand

A 17-year-old professional photographer who started her professional career in middle school. She also captured the 2012 Fiat 500 catalog’s lifestyle images

An emerging artist whose style has evolved from animation study, to line drawing, to computer scanning and illustration, to painting and sculpture. He was also the first artist to paint the Fiat 500 art car at the Motor Village of LA Studio grand opening

A member of Public School, an Austin-based collective comprised of designers, illustrators, and photographers – this artist prefers an ink pen and paper for sketching and has used his talents on one of the FIAT art cars

Multi-tiered Campaign Includes Major Advertising and Brand Promotions for Universal’s Upcoming Action-Thriller

April 1, 2011 , Universal City, Calif. and Auburn Hills, Mich. – The Dodge brand has teamed up with Universal Pictures for a multi-tiered partnership to support Universal’s upcoming action-thriller Fast Five and the 2011 Dodge Charger, it was announced today. The latest installment in Universal’s blockbuster franchise, Fast Five, will be released in theaters April 29. Dodge supplied multiple 2010 and 2011 Dodge Charger vehicles used in chase scenes throughout the movie and is sponsoring a Dodge/Fast Five advertisement that will air for the first time tomorrow during the coveted Final Four advertising space.

Fast Five Charger Commercial – Supporting the theme of “car chases make movies better,” Dodge will unveil a new 30- and 60-second advertisement on national television April 2 during the Final Four basketball tournaments. The ad features an Elizabethan-era mother lecturing her daughter about sullying the family name by carrying on in a relationship with Cornelius, an un-scrubbed son of a blacksmith’s apprentice, all the while driving “fast and furiously” as they are being tailed. The scene ends with the mother outrunning Cornelius, revealing the tagline “Car Chases Make Movies Better.

No. 7 Fast Five Dodge Charger R/T NASCAR Debut – Making its debut at the Martinsville Speedway on Sunday, April 3, will be the No. 7 Fast Five Dodge Charger R/T driven by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver, Robby Gordon. The No. 7 Fast Five Dodge Charger R/T Dodge will race throughout the month of April during NASCAR races at Texas Motor Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway and Richmond International Raceway.

As part of the partnership with Robby Gordon Motorsports, the first 200 fans to register at http://www.dodgemotorsports.com or http://www.speedenergy.com will receive a special Fast Five movie viewing with Robby Gordon on Saturday, April 30, in Richmond, VA. Fans will receive a commemorative ticket and photo opportunity with Gordon at a private meet and greet session prior to the movie. All 200 fans also will be automatically registered in a grand prize drawing that includes four VIP credentials to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on April 30 at 7:30 pm, honorary pit crewmember status and a $200 shopping spree to the Robby Gordon Motorsports souvenir trailer.

Fast Five Global Premiere – Dodge is sponsoring the global premiere of the film, which takes place in Rio de Janeiro (the location where the film is set) on April 15. During that time, Dodge will host a 10-city live simulcast of the red carpet arrivals from Rio de Janeiro followed by a special advance screening of Fast Five. This is the first simulcast for an international premiere.

Fast Five Sweepstakes – Beginning Tuesday, April 5, Dodge fans will have an opportunity to win one of five custom Fast Five 2011 Dodge Charger R/T models by entering the Fast Five Sweepstakes. To enter, consumers may visit www.Dodge.com/FastFive to receive a sweepstakes entry by completing the registration form and answering a Dodge Charger trivia question. Consumers may enter up to one time per day throughout the duration of the sweepstakes. Entrants may earn an additional sweepstakes entry by Tweeting the Dodge brand promotional message and sweepstakes link to their Twitter followers. The sweepstakes runs through Sunday, April 30.

Chrysler released the details on the Chrysler Group “Premiere Event” yesterday in a news release on their media site.  Below is the official release from Chrysler.

“March 16, 2011 , Auburn Hills, Mich. – Select Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge and Ram Truck owners and dealership customers are eligible to receive a $25 gift card by visiting a local dealership and completing a test drive.

While there, customers with a redemption code can try their luck at a “Spin and Win” promotion for a chance to win a new 2011 vehicle up to a $30,000 MSRP value.

It’s all part of Chrysler Group’s unique Premiere Event that begins today and continues through March 23, and includes the Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram Truck brands. The event is designed to encourage customers to visit local dealerships and test drive any of the 16 all-new and significantly-refreshed Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram Truck models that the company launched in 2010, including the all-new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the all-new 2011 Dodge Durango three-row utility vehicle, and the new 2011 Chrysler 200 mid-size sedan.

The Premiere Event is publicized by utilizing a unique mixture of traditional direct mail, e-mail blasts, dealership website banners, product videos, and personalized websites to generate customer traffic in the dealerships through a personalized approach.

There are 1,965 Chrysler Group dealers participating in the Premiere Event. That’s 86 percent of the dealer body, representing 94 percent of the dealer volume.

Chrysler Group announced March incentives on March 1. Incentive enhancements specifically for this event, effective today through March 23, include $500 Bonus Cash on the 2011 Chrysler Town and Country, Dodge Grand Caravan (excluding the Express model) and Jeep Wrangler models. In addition, Chrysler Group financial partners are providing special offers during the event.

So you didn’t receive a brochure in the mail or an e-mail invitation? No problem. Just check your dealership’s website for a banner ad that allows the general public to register for the test drive and enter the “Spin & Win” game.”
